I hope I can provide you the viewer, something different.

I started my journey behind the lens decades ago. A original film Canon 20 something. I took a couple of images in the Maldives in 1996. Then DSLR 2000d about 2010. An EOS R in 2020, and the R6 Mk II current on order June 2026.

My current lens selection consists of a modest Sigma 24-70 f2.8 OS, Canon 50mm f1.8, Samyang 85mm 1.4 AF, and a long standing Canon 70-200 f4. Canon 16-35mm f4 in the post.

I am very much a people person, at home, work & love nurturing young talent. A healthy relationship with volunteering.

With all that I reflect and contemplate thoughts much of the time. Flitting between work, thinking about personal stuff, then flit as a moments notice to a completely different track.

Photography for me exercises my brain in a completely different way.

I love landscape the best. My key advice off the bat here is to check what’s behind you. I plan to have a look back section here in the coming weeks.

I hope to be a little bit different. Besides just putting up my favourite selections - I will look to add the narrative. What I thought before taking the shot, and then reflecting, and analysing after what the shot means to me, and what I think it shows.
